Jack Mantych
Senior Associate
Jack primarily handles construction defect and personal injury defense matters. Throughout his practice, Jack has successfully defended numerous complex claims ranging from multi-million-dollar property damage to catastrophic injuries and wrongful death. Jack has represented a diverse clientele including national builders, small business owners, theme park operators, and global insurance companies. He is also experienced in commercial contract drafting, insurance bad faith, and providing coverage opinions. He has given multiple presentations on California bad faith and claims handling to national insurance carriers and various Lloyd’s of London syndicates.
Jack received his bachelor’s degree in Humanities from San Francisco State University, and his juris doctor from Chapman University School of Law, with an emphasis in Advocacy and Dispute Resolution. While earning his law degree, he was the Vice President of the Employment Law Society, a participant in the Entertainment Law Clinic, and a member of the Advocacy and Dispute Resolution team where he successfully competed against law schools from around the country in multiple negotiations competitions. Jack also interned for the general counsel of a leading telecommunications company in Southern California and Tan, Rajah & Cheah in Singapore.
Outside of the office, Jack can usually be found surfing, weightlifting, traveling the world, or trying to control his Pomeranian puppy, Rambo.
